Valencia goes flamenca! Andalusian Fair in Valencia 2024

In just two weeks, the capital of the Turia will dress up to host another edition of the customary Andalusian Fair. In today’s article we will tell you all the details of the event, so you won’t miss a single day of this picturesque celebration… Let’s discover it!

This year the Fair will begin on Friday, April 26 and will run until Sunday, May 5. During these seven days, Valencia will be transformed into a small branch of Andalusia. Without a doubt, it is the perfect opportunity to experience all the color and joy of the southern lands without leaving the city.

As always, the place chosen to carry out this festival will be the old Turia riverbed. The 19 booths that make up the exhibition will be located between the Exhibition Bridge (Puente de la Exposición) and the Bridge of Flowers (Puente de las Flores). In them, visitors will be able to enjoy multiple musical and cultural events, as well as the most typical gastronomy of the area.

At 8:00 p.m. on Friday, the lighting of the Portada will take place, marking the beginning of the Fair. This inaugural act is usually very emotional and festive, so we recommend that you do not miss the opportunity to witness the traditional “alumbrao” of the Feria Andaluza de Valencia.

Whether you are an early bird or a night owl, this year’s program fits all agendas. Visiting hours will be from 12pm to 11pm, Monday to Thursday. The rest of the days, you will be able to enjoy the Fair from 11am to midnight. In addition, the entrance to the fairgrounds is free of charge… What more could you ask for?

On top of that, this year’s edition is particularly special, as it celebrates its 30th anniversary. It is said quickly, but sustaining an event of such magnitude for three decades is not easy.

In this sense, the Federation of Andalusian Cultural Entities of the Valencian Community, in collaboration with the City Council of Valencia, have done a commendable job. It is also worth mentioning the support of the Junta de Andalucía, the Diputación de Valencia and the Generalitat Valenciana, among other companies that also participate actively in its realization.
