October 9
The 9th of October is the Day of the Valencian Community. This date commemorates the entry of King Jaume I the Conqueror to Valencia in 1238. Jaume I expelled the Arabs from the city of Valencia and ended his rule.
Currently in Valencia is a holiday when multiple events are organized. For example, you can visit medieval market, musical concerts, floral offering.
