Crazy Boat Regatta

There are thousands of ways to have fun, but we guess this plan will sound totally knew to you!
If you feel like doing something for the first time, this is your perfect chance! You only need to meet with a group of friends, choose your crazy costume and build your own homemade boat. And of course, doing it with so much creativity…..
Crazy Boats (Barcos Locos) is the first regatta of floating artefacts, organized by La Marina de Valencia. A super-original nautical competition in which audience can also participate by either cheering or boycotting the teams in competition.
So, as the event motto says: Make your boat and go sailing! Let’s see if you manage to float or even finish the whole route.
In addition, you can enjoy a good lunch, music and other leisure activities.
An original event to unleash your creativity and to roar with laughter 🙂
M.I.A.U. 2019

M.I.A.U Festival, i.e. Museum of Unfinished Art of Fanzara, has come back!
Since some years, Fanzara has become an open-air museum, with more than 150 outdoor murals throughout the town.
M.I.A.U. It is a socio-cultural project that aims to promote coexistence among neighbours and, at the same time, to generate synergies between local community and international artists.
The strong commitment of the neighbours and the spirit of collaboration has turned this “very unique” museum into an urban art reference in Europe and a most wanted destination for art lovers.
In addition, this weekend you can also watch international urban artists (from Spain, Denmark, Russia, Venezuela, Chile, Portugal, etc.) working.
You can even experimenting yourselves with urban art, by taking part in the Graffiti workshop. Or simply enjoy good music and some relax in a natural environment…
Walking through the streets of Fanzara means filling your eyes with wonders … You cannot miss that!

Outdoor free concert
Did you know that one of the headquarters of the Berklee School is located in Valencia? In other words, one of the best music schools in the world 🙂
If you like live music, we advise you not to miss this great concert!
In fact, the Berklee School’s master students will celebrate their graduation on a large scale, performing in front of the Hemisfèric, on a floating stage and in a charming environment.
The school hosts international student of around 30 different nationalities, who will play a varied repertoire, showing their great talent.
Although the concert is free, access to the concert area is limited. Therefore, we suggest you to get your free ticket at the City of Arts and Sciences desk, from 5pm on the same day.
A chance to enjoy international talents in a beautiful Valencian night …
Tapas del Mundo

“Tapas del mundo” is an initiative promoted by Festinar in collaboration with Valencia Acoge Association.
In the framework of this culinary meeting, migrant women will offer us typical tapas from their countries of origin. And by the way, through food, they will also give us the possibility of knowing new cultures, habits, countries, etc.
A unique opportunity to “taste” other cultures and immerse yourself in a multicolored world.
In short, we hope that this blog will be useful to fill in your next days with fun and creativity.
