The time has come for the students of our Spanish school to take a break from studying and enjoy the cultural events in Valencia.
To help our students regain energy and get started with enthusiasm on their Spanish classes next week, we have made our small selection of events.
Cinema, music, lectures on the environment and digital art are the main ingredients of this Valencian weekend.

Festival La Cabina

La Cabina Festival is one of the essential events for all lovers of fiction and non-fiction movies.
The festival has the merit of promoting a less popular film format like the medium-length films (cinema from 30 to 60 minutes).
Many and varied are the screenings of this 14th edition of the Festival.
In fact, the program is divided into several categories. The Official Section, which includes 12 fictional medium-length films from 8 different countries. The Inèdits Section, in which hidden gems of the history of cinema will be screened (this year, films by Pasolini, George A. Romero, etc.). And finally, the Almalgama Section, which consists of 12 Spanish and international non-fictional medium-length films.
To further enrich the programme, parallel activities, such as special screenings and round tables, await us.

Tributo a Ludovico Einaudi

There is always room for music in our weekend plans 😊
This time we suggest you this concert tribute to the great Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi. A very special musical evening during which the pianist Maria Abad will play well-known themes of Einaudi, such as Nuvole Bianche and Le Onde.
In addition, the musical event will take place in a very intimate and poetic atmosphere, under the light of the candles.
It sounds pretty good to be missed, doesn’t it?

Festival Cridem pel Clima. Cultura per l’emergència climàtica.

Until November 19, Valencia will celebrate this very important initiative focused on the climate emergency.
The Festival Cridem pel Clima is a multidisciplinary project whose objective is to raise public awareness on the issue of climate emergency.
The festival offers a wide range of activities related to the environmental issue. In fact, Cridem pel clima will use culture in all its forms to spread its message and raise public awareness on key issues.
Concerts, theatre, live street art, talks and a film cycle on the climate emergency are the pillars of this initiative.

Impresionistas: La expo inmersiva

The first immersive digital art exhibition on Impressionism arrives in Valencia.
The Ateneo Mercantil de Valencia hosts the exhibition in a space of 400 meters where images of the most representative works by exponents of impressionism will be projected on huge screens.
The exhibition allows the visitors to immerse themselves in the colours and light of the paintings of Monet, Cézanne, Manet, Gauguin and other emblematic painters of this artistic movement.
In addition, the explanatory audios will help us to better understand this brief artistic journey.
