This weekend we have a dilemma in our school. We do not know whether to go to the Festival Brunch or Il Market! Both are a few laces and we’ll explain why!
Traditionally every week we propose you plans of what to do in Valencia. And this weekend is no exception. We recommend you visit 2 very interesting events that are organized in Valencia these days. What do you call more, Festival Brunch or Il Market? Our Spanish school El Tándem will surely visit one of them.
Festival Brunch in the Park
On the 30th, the Brunch in the Park Festival that has taken place every Sunday in September ends. It is a daytime festival of outdoor electronic music. You can visit the Festival in the Marina de Valencia, from 1 pm to 10 pm.
It is a family event and dedicated to all types of audiences. In addition, for the little ones, different workshops and activities are organized. Therefore, it is a perfect plan for those who love electronic music but do not want to get up late.
Il market
It is an event dedicated to the sale of second-hand items. It takes place at the Ruzafa School (Denia Street, 32) and is free. The opening hours will be Sunday September 30 from 11 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. It is only a few minutes walk from our Spanish school in Valencia!
This event is a perfect opportunity to find any type of bargains. Here there is everything: books, clothes, records, furniture, decorations … Visit Il Market and find something for you!
It is also an event organized by the association Il Quartiere to encourage reuse and collaborative consumption. You can find more information on it´s Facebook page.
In the same way, several activities are organized for the public. There will be workshops for children, traditional Valencian palla and a musical concert.
In short, Valencia offers many very entertaining plans. In addition, visiting local events is an ideal complement to your Spanish classes at our school.
