Harry Potter: the Exhibition

After its premiere in Chicago in 2009, and having travelled all over the world, the Harry Potter exhibition has finally arrived to Valencia!
The exhibition has been installed in an area of around 1.800 square meters where the visitors will be able to immerse themselves in this saga’s fantasy world, strolling through the popular settings, like the Potion and Herbology classroom and the Gryffindor dormitory. Furthermore, some pieces of the original costumes of the film shooting as well as some of the most unique objects from Hogwarts world can be also appreciated in this great exhibition.
Valencia also celebrates the fact that it is the only city in Spain to host the exhibition. In fact, in several spots of the city you can find statutes of the movie characters and objects. Find some here below:

Tastarròs 2019

This week-end the city celebrates the Tastarròs 4th edition, the big “Valencian rice feast”, promoted by the Denominación de Origen Arroz de Valencia, aiming at celebrating the city star product and its varieties.
The fest is located at the very heart of the city center and gathers about thirty local restaurants that will make you taste their paellas and other rice-based dishes, mixing traditional flavors and gastronomic creativity. It will also be an occasion to get to know about the rice-growing, trough exhibitions and the performance of the traditional farming tasks in an arable ground, installed in the square.

LABseries

The cultural offer in Valencia is getting richer, also thanks to new initiatives like LABseries. This new festival is conceived as space to reflect and analyze the TV series phenomenon.
The program foresees projections, debates and roundtables with the participation of directors, writers, journalists, critics and historians that will explore philosophical issues related to the series. In the festival program, we pint out the roundtable on Games of Thrones (on the 13th at 5 p.m.) and the premiere of Urban Myths (13th , at 5 p.m.).
A perfect chance to meet other TV series lovers and to reflect on the series messages together with experts.

Mercado de Tapinería

This week-end the Mercado de Tapinería hosts the 3rd edition of the Vermouth Fair. During two days, all the lovers of this timeless drink will be able to taste vermouth from different craft and ecological wineries from the Valencian Community, Murcia, Madrid and Anadalusía.
The event will host again some of the wineries form previous editions, like Carmeleta, la Teulada, Madre Vermuth, Ciento Volando and many others.
Thanks also to the involvement of talented dancers from the swing dance school Satchmo, the square ill turn into an outdoor dance floor.
A perfect plan for vermouth and relaxing week-end lovers.
