After the success of the first edition, Contorsions has come back! The International Circus Festival of Valencia.
The Festival program is very diverse and gives us the chance to enjoy circus in its many artistic and cultural expressions. In fact, alongside Spanish artist such as the Valencian AVC Aeris, artists from different countries like France, Italy, Ukraine, Argentina will perform.
Besides, the audience can also enjoy ethnic music with the concerts of Trocamba Matanusca, Balkumbia and las Hijas de la Cumbia. All of them will be held at the Tinglado 2.
The circus shows will take place in the following four spaces of the city: Plaza del Ayuntamiento, el Teatro el Musical, La Mutant and and Tinglado2 of the Marina de Valencia.

The 31 Mostra PROAVA is the most important annual appointment with the gastronomy of the Valencian Community. Organized by PROAVA, this event aims to promote a balanced and healthy diet through the consumption of local products.
Therefore, the show offers a wide variety of products to taste and buy. Among them you will find liquors, wines, cavas and other traditional foods. All of them are produced by more than a hundred agri-food companies throughout the regional territory.
Furthermore, you will also able to attend to the preparation of recipes in the Gastroespai.

In a weekend plan music cannot be missing! Therefore, the musician Kaveh Saravarian and the dancer Lalita Dervi will offer us a Persian dance and music show at the Convent Carmen.
Through hypnotic rhythms and ritual dance, this duo wants to bring its audience to a spiritual experience, by combining folklore with contemporary sounds.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to know the Convent Carmen. A site of great historical value that in a short time has become one of the liveliest cultural and socialization spaces of the city.

We continue with music, highlighting this concert of scenic music from Germany between the wars.
Through the repertoire of Kurt Weill, a pianist and a soprano will make us live the atmosphere of Berlin at the end of the twenties. The event takes its name from the title of the homonymous song, which evokes the arrival of electricity in the streets of the city.
